With over 40 years of leadership experience across healthcare, IP, ITeS, and office automation, Dilip Deshmukh is the visionary behind EPiC Healthcare and Life Sciences Solution. As Founder & CEO, he drives the company’s mission to transform healthcare operations through innovative outsourcing solutions, clinical data management, and medical coding training.
A results-oriented executive, Dilip has successfully led large-scale business operations, built strategic global partnerships, and played a key role in optimizing healthcare processes. His expertise spans market intelligence, project management, and techno-commercial negotiations, making him a driving force in the industry.
Before founding EPiC, he held senior leadership roles at Xerox Modicorp, Persistent eBusiness Solutions, Spryance India, and IPEngine Services, where he led high-impact initiatives that enhanced operational efficiency and profitability.
Dilip holds a Postgraduate Degree in Materials Management from Dahanukar Institute of Management, Mumbai, and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Pune.
Kalpana Deshmukh
Co-Founder & CAO
As the Co-founder & Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of EPiC Healthcare and Life Sciences Solution, Kalpana has been a driving force behind the company’s foundation and operational excellence since its inception. She played a pivotal role in establishing the company’s legal and financial frameworks, ensuring a seamless launch in 2016 by overseeing its registration with the Registrar of Companies (RoC), GST certifications, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
In her role as CAO, Kalpana leads EPiC’s administrative, financial, and regulatory functions, ensuring efficient financial management through accounting, client invoicing, vendor payments, and GST return filings. She works closely with Chartered Accountants and Company Secretaries to maintain statutory compliance and streamline financial reporting.
With a Commerce degree and a Management Studies qualification from the University of Bombay, Kalpana brings deep expertise in financial and corporate governance. Prior to co-founding EPiC, she gained extensive experience working with a leading Chartered Accounting firm in Mumbai and held key positions at Tata Share Department and Gujarat Binil Chemicals Ltd.
Her strategic leadership and meticulous financial acumen continue to strengthen EPiC’s foundation, driving its growth and operational success.
Dilip Purohit
Corporate Strategy Advisor, EPiC
Dilip Purohit is a highly accomplished finance leader with over four decades of experience in strategic and operational finance across diverse industries, including chemicals & petrochemicals, investment banking, IT, ITES, and manufacturing. As Corporate Strategy Advisor at EPiC, he plays a pivotal role in shaping financial strategies, optimizing investments, and ensuring robust financial governance.
His expertise spans Mergers & Acquisitions (including cross-border transactions and financing), Direct & Indirect Taxation, Internal Controls, Legal & Company Law, Debt Syndication, Risk Management, IPOs, and IFRS implementation. A hands-on professional, Dilip excels in raising capital, structuring investments, and implementing financial systems that drive business growth.
A strong advocate for innovation and financial excellence, he thrives on navigating complex financial landscapes and delivering sustainable solutions. Dilip holds a graduate degree in Business Administration from Sardar Patel University and an MBA in Finance from South Gujarat University.
Sandeep Gohad
CTO
As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of EPiC Healthcare and Life Sciences Solution, Sandeep brings over 20 years of expertise in Information Technology (IT), driving innovation in healthcare technology, cybersecurity, and enterprise solutions. With a deep understanding of ERP, project management, and IT infrastructure security, he leads EPiC’s technology strategy, ensuring seamless, secure, and efficient digital solutions for the healthcare industry.
A Master’s degree holder in Computer Management from the Indian Institute of Cost and Management Studies and Research (INDSEARCH), Sandeep has worked as a software consultant in the USA and authored 200+ articles on ERP, cybersecurity, and IT governance.
At EPiC, he focuses on:
Healthcare Technology: Developing and implementing cutting-edge patient management software aligned with ABDM (Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission).
Cybersecurity & Compliance: Establishing robust IT policies, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security frameworks to safeguard critical healthcare data.
Process Automation: Enhancing operational efficiency through ERP-driven SOPs and project management solutions.

Led the development of a mobile application for paperless tree census, recognized by the Bombay High Court.
Works as a consultant for Pune Knowledge Cluster (IUCAA), automating large-scale environmental data collection.

An international chess player, Sandeep has represented India at the World University Chess Championships in Malaysia, winning an individual gold at the All-India Inter-University Chess Championship. He is also an active member of MCCIA and BNI.

Deven Babre
Principal Life Science Consultant – Data, Transformation & Digital Data Flow, EPiC
Deven Babre is a seasoned life sciences professional with over 28 years of expertise in clinical operations, clinical data management, risk-based quality management, data analytics & benchmarking, biostatistics & statistical programming, pharmacovigilance, and digital transformation.
As Principal Consultant at EPiC, Deven plays a key role in driving data-driven strategies to enhance clinical trial efficiency, optimize digital operations, and streamline analytics in the life sciences sector. His leadership experience spans global and Indian organizations, including Fresh Gravity, Bharari Digital Services, GSK, Cognizant, TCS, Sciformix, PharmaNet, Quintiles, Wockhardt, and Tata Institute of Social Sciences.
Beyond his corporate contributions, Deven is an active member of the Society for Clinical Data Management (SCDM) India Steering Committee and serves on the SCDM Global Educational Committee. A former Chair of the SCDM India Steering Committee, he continues to foster collaboration between industry and academia. He is also actively engaged with PHuSE and ISCR and has contributed to several national and international publications.

With a strong foundation in graphic design, UI/UX, and content strategy, Meera Babre is a seasoned professional now leading learning experience initiatives as a Senior Manager in a Learning Management company. She brings over two decades of expertise in visual communication, digital design, and user engagement, ensuring that learning solutions are not only informative but also visually compelling and user-friendly.
Her extensive background in designing interactive e-learning content, marketing collateral, and digital assets has equipped her with the ability to blend creativity with strategic learning methodologies. Throughout her career, she has successfully led cross-functional teams, collaborated with developers, and delivered innovative solutions that enhance the learning experience.
Passionate about storytelling and design thinking, Meera also has experience conducting creative workshops and developing content that bridges education with engagement.
